Montreal. Visit old Montréal and admire the city’s historical square, Place d’Armes, particularly the impressive Notre-Dame Basilica.Walk from the square to the Old Port, discovering quaint cobbled streets and pavement cafes along the way. A departure point for jet boating and white-water rafting trips, the area is also ideal for activities such as cycling and rollerblading. For a relaxing walk, try peaceful Mont-Royal Park, which also offers a spectacular view of downtown Montréal. At Olympic Park, visit the fascinating Biodôme and its four natural environments of the Americas – polar, tropical, forest and marine – to see 4000 animals and 5000 plants under one roof. From there you can take the free shuttle service to the Botanical Gardens and the Insectarium, and for a unique view of the city ride the cable car to the top of the Montréal Tower Observatory, the world’s tallest inclined tower.

 

Halifax. Explore Nova Scotia famed for its white sandy beaches and the capital Halifax, on one of the worlds largest natural harbours with it's historical waterfront district.

 

Calgary. At the gateway to the Rockies and in contrast to the national parks nearby, Calgary embraces modern skyscrapers and attractions and sights are plentiful. Visit the Calgary Tower and its Observation Terrace to admire the outstanding views. A visit to the nearby Glenbow Museum is an excellent way to learn about the area’s history and culture, while Calgary Zoo (Canada’s largest) on St George’s Island iis a must. Huntsville. An ideal base if you want to visit Alqonquin National Park which is one of Canada's best well known parks and is also Ontario's oldest and largest national park.. Huntsville has a handful of museums and is located approximately 2 hours from Toronto.

 

Jasper. Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. It has the wildest of mountain parks and has wonderful walking trails.
